Ghost: Why wouldn't we be alright? We're just stuck here with no ship and no transmat zone.Ĭayde-6: Great. The Guardian transmats onto the deck of the DreadnaughtĬayde-6: What happened? Everything alright? The Guardian accelerates toward the Dreadnaught, the weapon begins to fire, there is a flash of light and Eris Morn's ship is destroyed The Dreadnaught's weapon begins to charge Lights start flashing, alarms start sounding Probably just Saturn's radio storms running interference. Ghost: I'm picking up fluctuations in the power conduit.Ĭayde-6: Relax, I modified the tech myself. Not everybody's got stealth tech, and a ship that smells like Hive. Just don't forget to plant the transmat link so other Guardians can land. Ghost: It only took one blast from the Dreadnaught.Ĭayde-6: When you're through it'll never fire again. For more details, check out the update here, or check out Planet Destiny's video on all this news below. The Guardian pilots Eris Morn's ship through the wreckage of the Awoken fleet surrounding the Dreadnaught Now, I'm sure if you give it a week or two you could just google it all, but where's the fun in that? What's most exciting to me is the plans they have to expand on patrols, they make it clear in the update that the plan is to really ramp up the patrols in the expansion, promising new patrol missions and public events, with higher levels of difficulty, promising better rewards. That is, if you can figure it out, as Bungie have said they are focusing on exploring and discovery, they want players to find all these secrets themselves. Also, there seems to be a strong emphasis on loot, it seems the team really want this ship to be packed with all sorts of goodies for you and your friends to find.

We've heard all about the designs the developers had for this new area, and along with some new images, we can start to get a sense of what this ship will be like. We now also know that it is situated somewhere in the rings of Saturn, I guess parking is free there during off-peak or something. As we already knew, the Dreadnought will be an all new patrol area, meaning it can be explored freely and isn't tied to missions or raids. So far, we really only have concepts, just the ideas that went into the design of this new area, but from this we can gleam a few new solid facts. In the Bungie Weekly Update this week we got a taste of what we can expect from the Dreadnought, the colossal ship of the Taken King.
